Sansevieria Golden Flame, or Snake Plant, or Mother-in-Law‘s Tongue, is an amazing, low-maintenance houseplant with sword-like leaves that can purify the air in a room. It has light green foliage accented with striking lime edges and is one of the most elegant options for a home or office.
Sansevieria Golden Flame Features:
Foliage: Tall, rigid, upright leaves with lime green shades and green margins.
Air Purification: Filters formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon dioxide, improves the indoor air quality.
Adaptable Growth: Tolerates low light as well as bright, indirect sunlight. Thus it can be placed anywhere in your house.

Care Guide:
Light:
- Thrives under low, medium, or bright, indirect light.
- It can tolerate some direct sunlight, but avoid too much of it as it might cause discoloration on the leaves.
Watering:
- Only water when the first 2-3 inches of soil is absolutely dry.
- To avoid root rot, provide appropriate drainage.
Soil:
- Cactus or Succulent Mix and other well-draining soil mixture.
Temperature:
- Best performing between 15-29 degree Celsius (60–85 °F).
- Protect it from Drafts and frosts
Humidity:
- Preferred low to average humidity
- Need no special misting
Fertilizer:
- Feeding: Feed once every 4-6 weeks with a well-balanced, diluted houseplant fertilizer during growing seasons (spring and summer).
- Do not fertilize in fall and winter.
Repotting:
- Repot every 2-3 years or when root-bound. Transfer to a pot that is a little larger and has drainage holes.
Pruning:
- Remove yellow, damaged leaves from the plant so that it would look nice and healthy.
Safety for pets:
- Toxic if ingested by pets. Make sure this plant is inaccessible to cats and dogs.
